DAILY MORNING RITUAL IN HINDUISM

Daily Morning Ritual in Hinduism

A Hindu ritual for Samdhya worship and meditation was performed two or three times a day. Morning rituals usually contain baths, prayers and mantras, prayers and sun offerings, and represent the forehead. Hindus believe that continuing everyday in the morning and in the evening can be beneficial to them in life and purifying them for unity with God.

Morning Purification

Steps 1-5: The body and mouth wash cleaning is not only the cleansing of the body, but also important in mind. The sacred water of a river (preferably Ganga) can be used during this worship: "OM He is pure and indecent, or in any state, the Lotus-Eyes (Vishnu)

Washing is associated with respiratory control (pranayama). There are certain ways to do washing. Some fingers or thumbs of the right thumb should be used, each fingers, as well as the hand area, are assigned to represent individual gods.
The following prayer for the cleansing of the mind: Govindedi Sada Snanam Govindedi Sada Japam, Sada Govinda Keerthanam,Govindedi Sada meditation.
Translation: When meditating at Govinda, meditate in your prayers, meditate on God while remembering God and sing His name forever.

Sun worship

Steps 6-10: A Prayer for the Sun Gayatri Mantra, a well-known and sacred prayer, is essential to the morning ritual. In Sanskrit it states:
Om Phur Bhuvah Svah tat savitur varen  (i) am bhargo devasya dhimahi dhiyo yo nah procodayat

This prayer is translated in many ways, but everyone has the same common meaning. If the Hindu sage Swami Vivekananda translates, it merely says: We are meditating for the pride of the universe; Let him clarify our minds.
After prayers, offering tarpana, or deities. Each character has to use different hand hands.

The Tilak and Postures

Steps 11-14: Use of a caste or group (tilak) on the forehead is the last part of the morning ritual. Usually they are naturally used, but a Brahmin (priest) can be used in the temple after worship. On a man, in the form of tilak lines. The zealous signs made by Santana (chandan) show devotion to the Hindu god Vishnu. Shiva devotees use horizontal lines (Bhasma) from sacred ash. Worshipers of Divine Power put a red powder on the yellowish vermilion.

Traditionally, a married woman must wear a bundle (dot), which is a sign of female power. Meditation is placed between the eyebrows, in the "Third Eye" place, in a meditative attention. Finally, to write a particular mantra on the physical appearance of a nyasa, to awaken the goddess who leads the body inside the body should be practiced in practice.
